Cookies and Clear gifs
You must allow cookies and pop-up windows to be active on your system
to participate in our Program. Cookies are small pieces of information
stored on your hard drive. Cookies do not spy on you or otherwise
invade your privacy, and they cannot invade your hard drive and steal
information. Rather, they help you navigate a website as easily as
possible.
Our
Site utilizes cookies to collect information about how our Site is
used. Information gathered from cookies may include the date and time
of visits, the Site pages viewed, time spent at our Site and the
websites that you visited just before and just after your visit to our
Site. If you do not wish to transmit “cookie” information about
yourself, you may turn off the cookie function in your web browser.
Please consult the “Help” section of your web browser in order to
correctly turn off or disable the cookie functions. However, turning
off or disabling the cookie functions on your web browser may prevent
our system from properly recognizing you when you visit our Site, and
consequently may make your participation in our Program more difficult
or invalid.
Our Site’s
servers also automatically identify your computer by its IP address,
which is a unique string of numbers that is assigned to your computer
by your Internet service provider. IP addresses are automatically
logged by web servers, collecting information about a user’s traffic
patterns. While the IP address does not identify an individual by name,
it may, with the cooperation of the ISP, be used to locate and identify
an individual using the Internet. Your IP address can, however, reveal
what geographic area you are connecting from, or which ISP you are
using. Your IP address may be used to address problems with our server,
administer our Site and/or to gather broad demographic information
about our Members. Finally, the other websites that you visit have IP
addresses, and we may collect the IP addresses of those websites and
their pages, as well.
In
addition, for the purpose of formatting and delivering future
campaigns, we may employ pixel tags (also known as clear gifs) to
track: 1) the pages that our users visit on affiliate and/or partner
websites; and 2) user openings of, and clicks on, our targeted email
advertising.
We reserve
the right to employ user source information, including applicable
category and interest(s), for the marketing of targeted email messages.
This source information may be shared with our third party marketing
partners. We reserve the right to retain cookie and pixel tag data
indefinitely.
The Way We Use Information
Generally, we will use information collected on this Site to contact
the consumer in response to consumer-initiated inquiries, to provide
services requested by the consumer, to alert consumers to changes in
services or features, and to provide consumers with requested
information regarding us or our services.
Any
information that you submit at the Site remains your property. However,
by submitting that information to us, you grant to us the right: (1) to
share your information with third party individuals and entities that
we employ directly, or as contractors or agents at our direction; (2)
to share your information with third party advertisers and marketers;
(3) to use your information for purposes of administering our business
activities, including the operation of the Program; (4) to use your
information for purposes of providing customer service, such as
support; and (5) to use your information in order to send you
information about products and/or services that we, and/or our third
party advertisers and marketers, think may be of interest to you. In
addition, we may use the information that you provide to us to contact
you about changes to our Program or Site, the services, features or
products that we or our third party advertisers and marketers offer
and/or other information that we believe that you may find valuable.
If, at any time, you do not wish to receive such information, you may
chose to “opt-out” through the instructions contained in the section
entitled “Choice/Opt-Out” below.
We
reserve the right to share, sell, rent, lease and/or otherwise
distribute any and all information with/to any third party for any and
all uses permitted by this statement and applicable law. These third
parties may include providers of direct marketing services and
applications, including lookup and reference, data enhancement,
suppression and validation, and email marketing. We may also use your
information for any Program related purpose, and/or marketing and
survey purpose, on our own behalf and on behalf of our affiliates and
subsidiaries. Information may be shared automatically when you complete
a third-party registration form. We may disclose information to third
party agents and independent contractors that help us operate the
Program. You agree that we may contact you at any time with updates
and/or any other information that we may deem appropriate for you to
receive in connection with your continued use of the Site.
By
submitting your email address at the Site, you agree to receive email
marketing materials from us and our third party advertisers and
marketers whose materials we post on the Site. We, and our third party
advertisers and marketers, may maintain separate email lists for
different purposes. If you wish to end your email subscription to a
particular list, you must follow the instructions contained in each
email correspondence that you receive from us, the applicable third
party advertiser or marketer, to unsubscribe from that particular list.
Please follow the instructions at the end of each email message to
unsubscribe from the particular list.
To
unsubscribe from all of our email lists, please follow the instructions
set forth in the “Unsubscribe/Opt-Out” section below. We only send
email marketing to individuals who that have agreed to receive email
from us.
We also reserve
the right to disclose your personal information as required by law and
when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights
and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, when legal
process is served on our Site, if our assets are sold or acquired, or
if our company is sold or acquired, or when we otherwise deem it
necessary or appropriate. By agreeing to this statement, you consent to
disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when we,
in our sole discretion, determine the disclosure to be appropriate.
Data Collection Practices by Third Party Advertisers and Marketers
You can access certain third party advertiser and marketer websites
through our Site. When you opt to enter into a transaction with,
receive information from or provide information to such third party
advertisers or marketers, you may be doing so through the third party
websites of such third party advertisers or marketers. These third
party advertisers, marketers and associated websites have separate
privacy and data collection practices and we assume no responsibility
relating to them.
We
do not endorse, nor are we liable for the accuracy of, the privacy
policies and/or terms and conditions of each of the third party
advertisers and marketers that may advertise or post promotional items
at the Site. Entities that may advertise, promote goods or services,
and/or place banner ads at the Site, including these third party
advertisers and marketers, are independent third parties and are not
affiliated with us.
You
should read the privacy policies of such third party websites to make
sure that you agree to their terms before using such websites. If you
wish to opt out of receiving mailings from such third party advertisers
and/or marketers, you must do so directly with such third party
advertisers and/or marketers, or as otherwise provided on or through
their respective websites.
Right to Contact Via Telephone
In addition, by registering at this Site, you agree that such act
constitutes an inquiry and/or application for purposes of the Amended
Telemarketing Sales Rule (16 CFR Sec. 310 et seq.), as amended from
time to time (the “Rule”). Notwithstanding that your telephone number
may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission’s Do-Not-Call List, we
reserve the right to contact you via telemarketing under the Rule, and
we may transfer this right to our sponsors and one or more third party
marketing partners.
Group Aggregate Data
We reserve the right to provide aggregate or group data about our Site
users for lawful purposes. Aggregate or group data is data that
describes the demographics, usage, or characteristics of our Site users
as a group, without disclosing their personal information.
Security
We endeavor to safeguard and protect our users’ information. When users
submit information at this Site, such information is protected both
online and offline. The servers in which we store our users’ personal
information are kept in a secure physical environment. We have security
measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration
of personal information under our control.
Currently,
we do not require any payments for access to our Members’ Area, and
therefore do not protect or secure credit card or other payment
transactions. We may provide links to independent third party sites
that require such payments, but we do not accept any liability for the
security of credit card or other data transmitted to such third parties.
We
follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal
information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we
receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of
electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive
to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal
information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For
that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from
those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our Site is
structured to attract anyone under 13.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
If you wish to access, delete or correct the information that you have
provided to us through this Site, please contact us through the
“Contact Us” section of our Site, via email or through written request
to the Customer Service Manager at the address listed below. We may
take reasonable steps to confirm the identity of the consumer in an
effort to prevent identity theft.
Unsubscribe/Opt-Out
To unsubscribe/opt-out of having your information shared with third
parties, please click on the unsubscribe link in any email we send to
you. Please note, however, that when you select this option, we will
still share your information with third parties, as necessary, in order
to operate the Program and/or process any transaction that you entered
into by and through the Site for as long as you are a Member.
To
stop receiving future commercial communications directly from us,
please click on the unsubscribe link in any email we send to you.
Please note, however, that when you select this option, we will still
send you emails and other communications regarding the Program and/or
any transactions that you entered into by and through the Site for as
long as you are a Member.
We
may maintain separate email lists for different purposes. If you wish
to end your email subscription from a particular list, you need to
follow the instructions at the end of each email message to unsubscribe
from the particular list. To unsubscribe from all of our email lists,
please click on the unsubscribe link in any email we send to you, or
send a written notice to

We
process all unsubscribe/opt-out requests promptly, but it may take 10
business days for the change to be fully effective. Unsubscribing from
one list may not remove the consumer from all marketing lists.
Similarly, unsubscribing from one advertiser will not prevent the
consumer from receiving all advertisers’ emails.
Because
third parties maintain their own unsubscribe/opt-out lists, email
recipients who wish to end their email subscription from a particular
third party must follow the instructions at the end of each email
message to unsubscribe from that specific list. We do not control third
party mailing lists and cannot process unsubscribe/opt-out requests if
the message does not come directly from us.
Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who
have provided personal information to us or our third party advertisers
and marketing partners to request certain information regarding our
disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct
marketing purposes. Within thirty days of receiving such a request, we
will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed
to third parties for third party direct marketing purposes during the
immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses
of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per
calendar year.
Policy Changes
We do update our policy from time to time without notice so please
check back periodically. Changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted
on this Site and the effective date of the policy will be modified to
reflect the effective date of the most recent version.
